There is an understanding that it's temporary, that it only happens when both parties are single. I'm still friends with all my friends that were once friends with benefits. No friendships ended here. You're a rare person, Erin..and I don't mean that derogatorically. You are very much in control of your emotions and feelings, and you're able to distinguish a good fuck without attachments, from making something more of it. I love your new avie, btw | |

I've been in situations where that wasn't the case at all. One is even married now (he was single at the time of the "bennies") and we're still good friends. We'll be friends for life I think it has to be a strong friendship to begin with and setting expectations and communicating is key. | |
