it's said that everyone has a phobia about something. wether it be heights, tight spaces, certain colours, clowns, snakes, foods, etc... i was just thinking if i had one, but i can't think of any phobias i may have... so why don't you tell me what you're afraid of?

Spiders at one time. I think I grew out of it. While I'm not okay with them, I can sort of move away from them without panic setting in.

So, I think I am phobia free!

Not that I can remember, no. I think it was all because they were/are scary looking to me. They still frighten me, but I am able to either ignore them now or get someone to kill them instead of going to extremes.

It's funny though, earlier today, from my psychic, she said that we are all drawn to a certain animal or two. Our dominate one, we either love or loathe and that is who we are... our characteristics. Our second is that of which we strive to be like. While I know that spiders are an insect, I wondered if that wasn't my first one. It's usually spiders, lions and monkeys that I am drawn to/against.

I wouldn't say I have any real phobias, but I'm particularly not good around species with more than 6 legs and being exposed at high altitudes (i.e., I'm cool on a plane, but you'll never see this bruh in a hot-air balloon.)

MOTHS!!! they scare the life out of me! doesn't seem to make much difference about their size, but since my daughter was born I can sort of control it... but not if they have horrible hairy bodies!

It used to be flying, until I decided to tackle that about 12 years ago...
Now it's tsunamis.....have no idea what that's about...

funny thing is, for my p/t petsitting job, i go into other people's houses all the time, including of course after dark. doesn't bother me that much, but in my own house (!), i have to turn on the hallway light just to go to the laundry room.

Bugs

Bees and spiders are the worst. I've gotten a little better about it (like, I'm no longer utterly certain that the cause of my death will be a bee flying into my car and causing me to crash), but I still hate 'em.

Oh, and I don't at all mind really high heights (airplanes, tall buildings, bridges) but I hate minor heights. . .stairs without railings, or walking down steep inclines. It totally freaks me out. My eyes are really bad, and my binocular vision especially sucks, so I feel completely insecure with that kind of thing.

spiders and being in really tight crowded spaces. for some reason i don't mind it at concerts so much - subway cars, elevators, etc., freak me the hell out, though.
