It might be better for you to tell this guy how you feel...like..the more you ask, the longer its going to take, because your pestering leads to resentment.

Not coworkers, but I do get alot of salespeople who drive me nuts. We get phone calls all day from people offering to send us leads, and try to get us to join into their cost-per-lead programs. They send all the phone calls over to me, and I get stuck listening to their 30 minute presentations over the phone. I can't get a word in edgewise, and no matter how many times I try to politely end the conversation, they manage to keep it going. Then when it's all over, they ask me when it will be a good time to do a follow up call.

never!

The more someone bothers me about doing something, the less I want to do it. lol I'm very contrary that way, and I'm not happy with it but it's difficult to change. giggle

OMG yes...all the damn time. mad

I get crazy old ladies and teachers who call literally 3-4 in one day because I don't return their calls immediately. rolleyes Umm sometimes I'm away from my desk--like in a meeting or giving a tour. Duh. And they also fucking email me to make sure I got their voice mail or vice versa. It's so annoying. I have 50 million other things that need to get done in a day so cut me some slack. I always return phone calls within 1 business day (and I usually get their voice mail... confused )

The clincher is that when these people call they need to schedule a tour right away b/c the paperwork for the bus or payment is, of course, due the next day or some shit. So just because they waited until the last minute to do their shit, I'm supposed to drop what I'm doing? It doesn't work that way ..why should I increase my stress level because they don't have their shit together. Not happening...next time plan ahead. It's not a difficult concept.
The check. The string he dropped. The Mona Lisa. The musical notes taken out of a hat. The glass. The toy shotgun painting. The things he found. Therefore, everything seen–every object, that is, plus the process of looking at it–is a Duchamp.
