I agree, it seems like it's open game to accuse anyone skinny of being anorexic or bulemic or whatever. It's a huge double standard. Even as someone whose preferences shift towards people a bit soggy around the middle, it annoys me. I'm 5'7" or so and I've never weighed more than 125 lbs. I don't diet. It's just a gift. My entire family is tall and skinny and we definitely enjoy eating. Some of us just can't be helped. Not that I'm bitching necessarily, but I used to get asked if I was bullimic/anorexic in school. Used to drive me up a damn wall. This one's for you.

When I was in high school there was this chick that would always buy me lunch because she was convinced that I was annorexic I would tell her no and that I had my own lunch and she would sit there while I ate my lunch and whatever she bought me I just had a high metabolism and finally at 36 it's slowing down I would've milked that free food ride for all it was worth. All making up new eating disorders to fake, getting my breakfast, lunch and dinner paid for every day by a heart of gold. But then, I am an asshole. ~ I'D BUY THAT FOR A DOLLAR ~

I feel this is a good step. Some hundreds of years ago it was good to be plump. After all, fat is the true weath of the body's resources. So what do you people think? Will us fatties ever be In again? I think HEALTHY is slowly making a come back. This is good news to me, since I have a baby girl. Hopefully when she enters puberty this waif shit'll be a thing of the past. I agree. Good riddance Paris Hilton.

I'm not one of those who makes fun of your spelling. I can't speel for shit either. But the STAVATION. Did you forget the 'R' or is it supposed to be like a New York accent or Boston or whatever God forsaken place? Like Staaaahvation??? I'm confused. I kept misreading it as "salvation" Me too. I mean, ok it may not be sexy, but it sure beats the alternatives come the end of your days.

Not even when some tubby person in line at the supermarket buys 20 bags of pork rinds, gallons of ice cream, and absolutely nothing healthy and then at the very end, reaches under their cart and pulls out a cube of 24 delicious diet pepsis? Cos that always burns me up. This one's for you.

I don't know, I just feel like total shit if I eat junk all the time. It physically just makes me ill. My body needs vegetables and fruit and stuff. I always keep veggies in the fridge, cut up into bite size pieces and in little containers ready for my snacking. Of course then there's times like now where I make a single serving pouch of that new hamburger helper thing that only takes 2 minutes. This one's for you.

Well really the only reason I would be concerned about my friends weight is for health issues. I have known several people that died from diabetes or heart problems because of their weight and my aunt is practically on her death bed as well because her diabetes is out of control and she is overweight. That really is the only reason I would care about someone's weight. Sometimes the body does what we don't really want it to do. I love people for who they are, not the shell they come in. 2010: Healing the Wounds of the Past.... http://prince.org/msg/8/325740
