Who's Worse? Dumb People or Smart People

Of course I complain about dumb people more often.

But lately I find that smart people are even more annoying because they think they know everything, and they can argue any ridiculous opinion. They rarely say "maybe I was wrong," or "I never thought of that."

More than that, smart people can be the most dangerous, convincing others to do their evil bidding.

What do you think?

Don't hate me because I'm dumb. That wouldn't be fair.

typical smart person remark!

Yes, it's true. Of course it's not all black & white (and the questions are raised "what is dumb" and "what is smart,") I guess I'm only referring to the annoying varieties of either category.

Indeed, smart people are displaying dumb behavior by justifying dumb behavior with intelligent arguments.

It's a complicated issue.

I get on my own nerves all the time
Say it's just a dream...
U open up ur eyes and come 2 realize
u simply imagined this
So u lean over and give her a kiss
Here on earth, here on earth,
with u it's not so bad
Here on earth, here on earth
eye don't feel so sad
Stay right here

I agree that arrogance is annoying, but I'm sorry, I LOVE smart people. And you know why? Because they actually DO know shit! A point that is lost on a lot of dumb people who can't imagine actually knowing shit! lol

Everybody who spent their K-12 free time playing sports, LISTEN UP:

While you were spending 2-4 (or more) hours per day running around outside and working on your fine and gross motor skills, I was sitting in a library learning what fine and gross motor skills ARE. Did it ever occur to you that we dorks had to be doing SOMETHING with all of that time? You know those books we had our noses in? Well, they contain a lot of words. About stuff. Add up all of those hours, filled with all of those words, and it turns out that we actually know a whole hell of a lot about a lot of different things! biggrin

We wish that you would consider us a resource (though most of us have kinda given up on that fantasy). Just as we will consider you a resource if we want to understand a football game (which we probably don't) or survive in the wilderness or whatever. We trust that you know your shit. Trust that we know ours.

Thank you, that is all. geek

Absolutely! And as an adult, I've had to learn to like being outdoors and active. I wish I had done more of that as a kid. It's not that I don't value it. But it's not how I spent my time. I just think that non-dorks don't always really think about what clocking all of those dork-hours actually meant.

when those dorks become their bosses they might get it!

I had to re-discover exercise in my 20's. I learned neglecting it was as dumb as neglecting the mind
