I will never get ahead financially, I will always be poor and never be able to do what I would like to do in life. I hate to bitch, but this is something that is real for me, and something that I can't see ever changing. I know that I am not alone, but it still sux.

Noooo! I know I've been told that I'm too much of an idealist but I always think that if you belive that something will come up, it always does. However, my finances seem to be going backwards at the moment but I'm trying not to worry.

Unless you've never financed a car, or anything ever this won't be a problem. If it is a problem (IMO) it's the best problem you could ever ask for. If you got a steady income and NO debt along with NO credit...MOST places are willing to loan you money anyway. it's usually your income to debt ratio they base things off of.

I've saved a shitload of money.

I've stopped paying for cable,
I don't read books, magazines or newspapers,
I don't go to the movies
nor do I rent videos/DVD's anymore (not even those which are rated xxx).


All the entertainment that I got from all these things,
is now provided by all the good people who make up this here org.

Civil service jobs pay good money. I don't know how old you are or where you live, but in NYC there's a newspaper that has listings of all the exams for civil service jobs. Maybe you should look into that.

There's money to be made...you have to hustle. Believe me, as a commercial artist, I know how rough it is out there. But you have to be rougher.

Don't say that. I'm only staying around here because I keep believing the opposite. Staying at this level, the poverty of all ancestors before me, is not a happy prospect. Not in this society, in this country.
