It's the person I would be more interested in, not what cologne a man wore.

I lose interest in men depending on what frangrance they are wearing, yes.
But it's not so much due to the price of the scent, but the image it invokes in me.

For example, men who wear Polo (the original in the green bottle) turn me off completely.

Scent ... being a deep primal attraction force

hmmm

I naturally would not be attracted to someone i didnt think smelled incredible

I do not find any type of chemical cologne / perfume naturally attractive so ...

No

Hey, when I was in middle school, buddies and I used to make each other share some Jovan Musk and Stetson samples.

hahaha.

Those were the days.

You know this is about to morph into or spawn a colones/perfumes thread, right?

wink

Dare I?

He wouldn't even get past "hello" if he was wearing cheap cologne.

The first two things I check out on someone is their cologne and their watch.

Just from personal experience, if they have cheap cologne on, they're generally lazy about their hygiene and only clean themselves up when they absolutely have to.

I won't get into the whole watch thing, thats another thread LOL.

lol. When I meet people for the first time at a bar, and I get the feeling they're pretending to be something they're not, like rich and successful lol, their watch is usually a dead giveaway.

My dad wears Polo, so I would be turned off by it too. I like the smell of Polo, it's just I don't wanna date someone who smells like my dad. lol

I personally don't wear those knock offs. I used to in high school, but stopped buying them because the scent never lasted long....only for an hour or so. I don't mind if others wanna wear them though as long as they're not doused in it. lol Overpowering scents of any kind would make me a little sick to my stomach.

My grandmother wore Chanel no 5. My grandfather used to give her a bottle every year for Xmas. When he died, I took over that responsibility and bought her a bottle for Xmas every year. When she died I kept her leftover bottles. I still have them, but they're tucked away.

Personally, as long as she doesn't smell like ass I'm not terribly concerned about the pedigree of a woman's perfume. That said, I have a history of dating high maintenance women, so maybe I'm full of it..
"What kind of fuck ending is that?"
