ThreadBare	Yeah, but it turned out that she already had a boyfriend and just wanted to be taken out to pricey restaurants. So, she was stringing me along, but the worst part was... Oh, wait. I'm sorry. I confused "experimented on" with "toyed with." Wrong thread....

Yes. When I was a young child, I participated in some psychology research studies at Indiana University and (I think) Harvard. I don't remember much about them, except that IU paid me a whole $3 per visit.

Then, in middle school, I took part in some program through Northwestern University that involved me taking the SAT in 7th grade and again in 8th grade. I'm not quite sure what Northwestern got out of it, but basically, I got two "practice runs" without having to worry about the scores being reported during the college admission process.

Most recently, I participated in two HIV vaccine clinical trials and had literally hundreds of vials of blood drawn. As it turns out, though, I was getting nothing but placebos -- specifically, they were injecting me with saline.

Natisse	yes... I was part of a worldwide Growth Hormone trial when I was 10. I had to give myself an injection every day for 4 years still to this day not sure if it worked as I never found out whether I was one who was administered the Hormone or not

Carried out, and participated in numerous studies org note me if you have any specifics.

Generally they are ok, nowadays there can be pressure to publish and sometimes safety goes by the wayside as seen in the huge fuckup in London recently.

I have done my time now, I just subject other poor bastards to my experimentation :evilol:

One of my friends asked me to assist him in some blood experiment thing he was doing for his Master's. nod

(I have no idea what it related to). He had to 'collect' 10 people, I think, and I was one of them.

We went to his Uni, sat down with his tutor, and they proceeded to jab me in the arm with a needle. About 15 times. They were trying to find a vein but they couldn't find one. lol
