Stavation is not sexy. Is being skinny on its way out? Lately there's been events like runway shows not alowing too skinny of models to walk the cat walk no more.
I feel this is a good step. Some hundreds of years ago it was good to be plump. After all, fat is the true weath of the body's resources. So what do you people think? Will us fatties ever be In again? News: Prince pulls his head out his ass in the last moment.
Bad News: Prince wasted too much quality time doing so. You have those internalized issues because you want to, you like to, stop.

I want extreme, record breaking obesity to be in. Like I mean the kind of fatness only a handful of people have accomplished, I want that to be completely in vogue. I would eat 30 pizzas in one sitting and sit around on a concrete slab like a slovenly Jabba the Hutt type. I would have eyes the size of basketballs and be surrounded by muppets and half naked women with oddly shaped heads.
man i got a boner just thinking about it ~ I'D BUY THAT FOR A DOLLAR ~

skinny will never be out. just like being rich will never be out. anything that is exclusive or not the average will always be "in."

as for the "not too skinny" models...puh-lease. find me one slightly chunky girl walking down those designers' runways.
designers want people who hang their clothes well on the body. that's why boobs and butts are not big on the runway: they distract attention from the garment.

I seriously have self image issues I was 118 for 15 years after graduating high school and right when I finally become comfortable with my body, I got these baby love handles and shit. Although I do like my face a little better. Now I have to adjust and what the hell happens if I gain more weight? I agree, it seems like it's open game to accuse anyone skinny of being anorexic or bulemic or whatever. It's a huge double standard. Even as someone whose preferences shift towards people a bit soggy around the middle, it annoys me. ~ I'D BUY THAT FOR A DOLLAR ~

Even as someone whose preferences shift towards people a bit soggy around the middle, it annoys me. When I was in high school there was this chick that would always buy me lunch because she was convinced that I was annorexic I would tell her no and that I had my own lunch and she would sit there while I ate my lunch and whatever she bought me I just had a high metabolism and finally at 36 it's slowing down 2010: Healing the Wounds of the Past.... http://prince.org/msg/8/325740
