Sorry, I forget the exact title but, basically, she now has to take B12 supplements/injections. [Edited 9/27/06 6:23am] but being anemic means she has an iron deficiency, right? i do worry about people, with good intentions, stop eating meat, but not finding good sources of nutrition to replace the nutrients. i hope your friend feels better soon. i do think it's a mistake to go veggie/vegan without preparation - read some books on the subject, talk to your doctor or a nutritionist, at LEAST talk to other people who have been veg for a while, be prepared for different reactions based on your own metabolism...i've known a lot of people who quit doing the veggie thing because they just went cold turkey (pardon the pun) and decided they could live on organic cheese puffs and diet coke, then wondered why they got miserably sick.

Well technically it is waste, and has never been a part of or been ivolved in any of the animals metabolism. I think you might be alsright y'know! Urine is definately out, but cow pat and yam fritters could be on the menu!

PREDOMINANT said: Absolutely, but you would be surprised how many people don't get this. However I would say that there are a lot of supplements that contain crap that aren’t proven to be beneficial or are in any way intended to be beneficial also. Best way is to just have a healthy balanced diet, then you don't need to supplement it! I agree. God doesn't just tells me how much he "LOVE's" me, God shows me how much he "LOVE's" me. Both telling and showing "LOVE" means to "LOVE". They go hand in hand. You can't have one with out the other. Something is spoken, then followed by an action. That is

In general, I agree that a balanced diet won't require supplements, but there's nothing wrong with taking a daily multivitamin for insurance purposes. Most nutritionists (<-- the EXPERTS IN THEIR FEILD) will suggest this. oh noes, prince is gonna soo me!!1!

I'm a bit bored with not eating fruits though, I miss my apple I see, how interesting...I've never heard of that before! Can you not just eat the insides of the apple, not the skin? Nothing, only cooked, but the bite is missing and the freshnes of raw fruits and vegatables. A specialist told me there is a good chance for me to "grow" over it around my 45/50th. Not fast enough to my taste
