Sooooo tonight I was asked to model in a fashion show. Ya I may come off as some big mouth fun girl who likes to party but when it comes down to it....I'm not very confident and can be shy as a *****FKR!!!!! I just went online and looked at the clothes...they are beautiful and I'm so honored to even be considered. But I don't know if I can do it! I don't want to insult the designer if I say no but I don't know if I can pull it off. I have visions of walking half way down the runway and falling flat on my face. Like the Sex and the City epsiode where Carrie falls and Heidi Klum walks over her!!!

Do I just say fuck it and take the chance...or do I decline and offer to take pictures instead if it's an option? I'm really kinda freaked out...

I just looked at the site and it's all fkn professional and shit...I don't want to make her look bad if I fuck it up! AHHHHH

Sweethart, I say go for it and have fun with it! I've worked in that industry for a billion years and there can be some really fun moments. Just practice your walk like you've seen the girls do it on tv, and make sure your pals are there to take zillions of photos. Then you can have lots of fun pics to show the grandkids when you tell 'em one day, "See, children, this is when Granny was young and a HOT TAMALE!"!!!!

Of course do it Carrie, if anything it will be a new experience. Don't be shy, fuck that shit.

I've done it a couple of times, never fell. If I can do it ANYONE CAN Do it girl, practice your walk @ home & don't get too cocky on the runway. Just stay focused & you'll be fine!

Do it. My ex was a model for a time and used to get the nerves but after each show always said she didn't know why she was so freaked out; it was no big deal.

Go into it with the attitude that it will be fun and be as relaxed as you can. The rest should sort itself out!

Someone backstage pushing you onto the catwalk (which happened to me once) helps too. I stumbled, and it was perceived as being part of the show.

I also once fell. Bastids had not secured the raised floor and it tilted. My fella models just ALL jumped off the catwalk then, also no biggie.

Take your chance.

Don't think on "worst case scenario," it is not helpful when you're about to try something exciting yet challenging.

If u dont want to do it let her know ASAP so she can find a replacement. Also let her know your fears,maybe u can go through the walk through to see how it feels.

It wont be so bad,time will go by so fast,you wont realize what you're doing.
