yeah it was and ur welcome. Russel Crowe got teary-eyed as well. he said some really nice things.

I didnt realise how many people were moved by Steve, cuz he was 'bigger' in the U.S. than here, but its good to know he completed his 'mission' to educate people about wildlife and nature, and his conservation stuff too.

thanks for the link luv4u.

it just amazes me what he achieved. his commitment, energy, sincerity...and he had a kind of innocence about him too.

i dont think he's from around these parts. the way he was talking about being put on this planet to fulfill a mission etc...

guess i shouldnt b sad, no doubt he's gone back to the planet he came from, as king of the jungle or somthing so i bet he's happy as pie. x

Bindy was the bravest and most mature little girl I have ever seen, heart-wrenching, truly heart-wrenching.

Oh my gosh. cry I saw Bindy speaking on a crocodile hunter special that was filmed before his death. She is so cute and charming. When they showed a re-run, I made my husband sit down and watch it so that he could see the 3 minutes in which they intereviewed Bindy . She so loved her daddy. RIP Steve.

So I take it you've seen it now (from your quote of the song)?

Very moving.

The morning I heard Steve Irwin had died. I thought of who he was. I thought of him as someone I had seen often, actually on television and he had let everyone see wildlife in a whole new way. Up close and personal. He was a fun guy, a good guy. The very next weekend after Steve Irwin had passed away, at the park near our home, there were two little boys talking and the topic changed to who else Steve Irwin. They agreed that he was a hero. To them he was. To children he was larger than life. He had reached them, reached children all over the world. He had millions of friends around the world. It is a loss of a true unique spirit, a one of a kind man. A painful thought that he is no more. To everyone who knew of him around the world. God bless Steve Irwin. God be with his beautiful family.
Goodbye Steve Irwin we will not see the likes of you again.
