My Space was actually sold to who's that guy that owns Fox news? It's like Erbert or some weird name. So I'm a little shy from it now...I mean Fox news? The conservitive GOP news source?

Rupert Murdoch actually purchased MySpace back in 2005. Besides FoxNews, he owns multiple newspapers, publishing houses, record labels, and other media related businesses and, because of the huge success of MySpace and the enormous traffic it garners, Murdoch sees in it a valuable advertising asset and promotional tool for his other holdings.

I think if MySpace becomes more conservative in the time to come as a result of Murdoch's purchasing of it, the change will be largely due to efforts to make the site, as a whole, more advertiser-friendly.
