Right now I am getting into searching and downloading torrents and I use BitTorrent for the downloading, but 2 me it seems awfully slow, even when theres a lot of seeders!! At the moment, I am downloading a Peter Gabriel concert from his Growing Up Tour and so far its gonna take 1 DAY AND 7 HOURS 2 complete the whole download!!! Can anyone recommend 2 me a fast downloading tool??

maybe try Ares? my bittorennt program isn't working right now, either. Ares is okay, but you can't download whole albums at a time.

Torrent programs are a little tricky at first. You have to have them configured properly to work with your connection speed, modem, and router. They generally don't work well right out of the box.

You might want to try switching over to uTorrent. Their site has some great guides on how to get everything set up with their software.

but back to the topic, i agree with U torrent, it seems to do a auto kinda set up thing and works with your computer.

You may have to go into control panel, security central, windows firewall(the one at the bottom) Exception tab, and make sure U torrent is checked if you have xp pro pac 2. If not i think you just tell windows to allow the port # which can be found when you look at u torrent i think under settings in the u torrent program.
