Hey, Do Any of You Have Vonage for Your Cell Phone Service? They keep sending me information, saying that I can save up to 50% on my cell phone bill (which sounds mighty tempting). I was wondering if any of you use Vonage for your cell phone billings, and what your experience with them has been (good and bad). RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you.

How does the plan work? I didn't think Vonage offered any kind of cell service. Maybe they are just making these claims, assuming you will use your cell less if you are using a landline phone.

its crap, a friend has it and he always cuts out on the phone. it may not be crap for him, but it is for anyone having to talk to him.

My brother has Vonage but not cell phone service. He LOVES it. Can call almost anywhere free or extremely cheap. He has a couple Canadian numbers so the relatives up there can call him for free. Calls to most of Europe are free as long as they go to a landline. Calls to a cell cost more, but still reasonable.
He loves that you can keep a record in your computer of incoming and outgoing calls. He has a record of every phone call his ex makes to the kids, and the ones they make to her. Proved very useful in court when she said she was calling all the time and he wouldn't let them talk to her. I'm switching to Vonage as soon as my router gets here. Don't know about the cell phone service though. "Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind"-Dr Seuss
