A serious house-mom has the same problems as a serious working stiff; doing so much work in only so many hours that you become acustomed to it. Living on only 4 hours a sleep a day or less is all that you get or can get. After a while, your body gets used to it, so that when you can get more sleep, you cant.

Its a damned shame. I treat a 8 hour sleep like a mini-vacation.

You're tired?

Try giving blood. That's more tiring than tantric masturbation.

Alot of People have trouble Sleeping.

It isn't that they don't "fall" asleep.

It's that they don't like falling.

This kind of fatigue sounds like lethargy and is usually brought on by a bad diet and/or lack of exercise.

I used to about five years ago.
Don'ttake this the wrong way, but I would wait until all the responsibilities of the day were out of the way and roll a fat one.

Knocked me out every night.

The problem did eventually go away(Not because of the fat ones, they only helped).

No. There's a short stage the mind goes through while falling asleep. It's when the consciousness slips into unconsciousness. The Alph brain patterns slip into beta. It's that letting go of consciousness that people fear, and so they wake up, even unconsciouly they do, and bring themself back into conscious thought patterns.

Mostly this could be defined as that "Why Ain't I sleeping" stage. It's where you are actually falling asleep, but your mind panics itself about the very act of sleeping so to wake up. It can be easily fixed by just thinking, "I'm already asleep".

I love that dozing off stage. The one where your half awake but half aslleep, and weird thoughts start going through your head, but they're (How bout it Spook?) not actual dreams. Is that the stage your talking about?

Are you exercising?
Are you eating very well? Lots of rice, meat, fruit, one portion of sea food a week, seeds in your salad?

yes, but THEY ARE the start of the dream stage. When the thoughts get all fuzzy logic, that's the start of the dream cycle. To many people obsess about the thoughts therein and awaken themself. It would be better to alow yourself be taken under, or you can always do some math in your head. This often does it for me. It's along the idea of counting sheep.

Pills should be a last resort. It's such a misconception to rely on them as a quick-fix these days. It's so wrong that culture does this. Pills have side-effects and damage your health. There's a huge argument anyway that pills like this are all psychological - you think (mentally) that they are helping, which changes your mindset, even though the pills are doing fuck all.

Basically, pills are shit - we didn't need them 50 years ago, so why now?

I work out with weights and cardio 4-6 days a week, I eat plenty of chicken, fish and veggies. I take a two-a-day vitamin with a olive anti-oxidant back. I also work 60-70 hours a week. I dont think me taking a pill to help me find a little sleep all that bad.

Oh trust me when I say, I am not an antiDrug type person.

However if you do work that much, and work out that much, your body should "need" sleep, and should be willing to "take" sleep on its own.
