Ebay - Cracked record rec'd. Parade picture disc I feel ill.
I have just recieved a Picture disc of the Parade Album that I have wanted since 1986. Finally buy it via Ebay and the packaging was flimsy, hence the (3) for the seller. I have never given bad feedback but I can't write a good review. I physically can't. The packaging was some bubble wrap and paper. No card to keep the record secure. I am so upset and feel sick. Can you claim from the Post Office? That is did it get sent with Insurance?
I had the same thing happen to me with Cream on 7" (Sent in a Jiffy envelope of all things) although obviously not as rare as the Parade Piccy Disc. It is depressing, moreso when the seller doesn't respond, but you should be able to start a complaint through the Ebay system with a complaint and hopefully come to an amicable resolve. It annoys me when a seller charges x for postage and then sends it in flimsy packaging at half the price - I have sold much Prince stuff through Ebay and would never have dared to send anything Vinyl in anything less than a tough Card packaging.  .........Gimme your Doughnut,,,,,, | |

I sent a dispute via paypal. Always pay via paypal and you will never have a problem. The seller was on holiday when I started to e-mail him but was happy to refund when I sent a picture of the crack in the disc. http://www.myspace.com/savage1999uk
