I have no idea what you're talking about. And for people whom don't like carrots, try making carrot french fries! Cut a carrot lengthways and then cut each half lengthways again. Then chop your four long quarters in half widthways. Plunge the carrots into a pan full of corn oil for about eight minutes and then place on paper towel to remove the excess oil. Serve the carrot french fries by drizzling with a mix of melted butter and a teaspoon of English Mustard. The melted butter/mustard mix is also good drizzled over baby new potatoes. Just melt two ounces of butter in a teacup in a microwave and stir in the mustard. You can add half a teaspoon of garlic granules too, if you're feeling creative. Fanny Craddock?? Is that you??!

So what's everybody else's favourite vegetable? Where do we all stand on the raw/cooked debate? Is life too short to stuff a mushroom?

Sorry, I could never eat a raw carrot. When I think veg, I think of an entire Sunday Roast so it's hard to say. But I love parsnips. Just don't come near me with a cauliflower.

I love all fruit and veg ... I even tried Durian fruit ("Vomit Fruit")this year which wasn't too bad. The only veg I don't really like are leeks. I'll eat them but I'd never choose them. Favourite veg is probably brussels sprouts.

Yeah, I can only eat cauliflower if it's smothered in cheese sauce. Reincarnate said: Favourite veg is probably brussels sprouts.
Love them! Leftover sprouts and potatoes make great Bubble & Squeak (instead of using cabbage).

I've Googled it and the possible side-effects seem a bit unpleasant: http://www.drugs.com/omeprazole.html Possible yes, but I've experienced NONE. In the swedish side-effects listing the possible side effects are listed as 1.common(occurs in less than 1 out of a 100 people), 2.moderately rare (in less than 1 of a 1,000) and 3.extremely rare (in less than 1 out of every 10,000) and only the allergic reaction is listed as common. Like I said I've experienced no side effects at all, only a huge relief from the otherwise obnoxious heartburn.
