Those are awesome. You are like not caring about anything anymore but being in rest mode. All of a sudden, returning calls, keeping commitments, anything else comes second class to just doing nothing.
News: Prince pulls his head out his ass in the last moment.
Bad News: Prince wasted too much quality time doing so.
You have those internalized issues because you want to, you like to, stop.

wink lol

the ones i take are 100% natural plant extract ...

we dont eat as well as 50 yrs ago and the food quality is not that of 50 yrs ago either

i take the omfg PILLS

falloff

for 1-2 months per yrs to help my body adjust to the time/season changes

if you have everything so worked out there hun how come you have such
( publicly on the org ) mood swings and boughts with depression ?

is your diet right ?
do you exercize right ?

blahblah

wink hug

yeah we all know mindset helps shift all things... but the human body CAN be and often times IS lacking on certian chemicals that make her run better

My depressions are brought on by external influences that change around me. When I have everything as I want it to be, I'm happy. You could call it mild OCD although I refuse to be diagnosed.

The fact of the matter is that you can and will eat as well as you would have 50 years ago if you try to. It's not hard to find wholly organic food and sit down to 3 square meals a day, even around a tough work schedule.

I exercise daily, which negates the need for diet - I just don't eat anything processed or fake. As a result I have no problems (ever) sleeping, I'm never hungry, I never crave foodstuffs...it just works.

Opinions are different in England from across the pond, I realise, but over here pills are certainly a last resort that are generally frowned upon. We look for the organic + exercise solution first. Make yourself more like the caveman you would be if you didn't have such a cracking brain up in your head - we would go running to hunt for food and eat square meals rather than snacks. It's how we're designed to be biologically.

my levels of serotonin drop drastically in spring and fall ... so i take the 100% natural plant derived "pill" to help ... it is much easier then eating as many griffonia seeds as it would take to get the same amount ...that and the seeds taste like shit

nod Ok fair enough. Although you know that going for a run releases as many endorphins into your brain as having sex does? Even moreso with women.

Ready?

Lack of sleep makes it harder for me to sleep. It's crazy.

5HTP makes you sleepy, yes, also Melatonin.

Yoga before bed helps me, I don't like pills.

But most parents that I know of youg kids seem to be really tired all the time. Not cool!

I agree with Spooky that they should be a last resort, but you're right, they do help people. He asks about 50 years ago. I'm curious what the life expectancy was 50 years ago?

They're kind of natural. But so are vitamins & herbs, and not all of them are good for you to take as supplements.

But I agree, I don't knock what works for someone else. 5htp & melatonin felt natural to me; they didn't have weird side effects. They didn't help me sleep though.

I just don't react well to any kind of med's. I don't even like to take antibiotics, and I'm not real big on givin' my kids meds either. I rarely ever even give them cold medication. I like to give them the chance to for their body to fight it off on it's own first.

Me too. 5htp & Melatonin didn't make me feel weird at all, but they didn't help me sleep. I was already tired, just like you, I just couldn't sleep for some reason, probably stress.

Sounds like you don't need pills to help you sleep, you need something to relieve your stress like exercise, meditation, yoga...ahem..life change...

I'm so tired, I haven't slept a wink
I'm so tired, my mind is on the blink
I wonder should I get up and fix myself a drink
No,no,no.

I'm so tired I don't know what to do
I'm so tired my mind is set on you
I wonder should I call you but I know what you would do

You'd say I'm putting you on
But it's no joke, it's doing me harm
You know I can't sleep, I can't stop my brain
You know it's three weeks, I'm going insane
You know I'd give you everything I've got
for a little peace of mind

I'm so tired, I'm feeling so upset
Although I'm so tired I'll have another cigarette
And curse Sir Walter Raleigh
He was such a stupid git.
