My father noticed I was a bit disappointed and ordered another plate for me. The scenario repeated itself a few times. Finally, the fifth plate of fruit was for me. 
Worst of all, there was a group of musicians going to each 'birthday'-table. When it was my turn, their enthousiasm was gone.  | |
