It was a really crazy neighborhod, and I didn't even realize it until I started talking about it with my sisters one day recently and we started trading stories. Funny because I didn't tell mom any stories either. I think in some way kids just roll with the flow but in other ways I think that you don't want to hurt your parents with bad feelings. There are some things that have happened to me in my life that I have never told my mother and probably never will. I kind of feel like it would give her a feeling like she didn't do a good job or that she didn't do enough to protect me when the reality is that there was really nothing she could do..... I remember when i was a little kid in public school and this girl would always run up to me and push me or slap me. A real annoying girl. I was told "Oh, it's her way of showing she really likes you. That's what girls do. yadda, yadda". I was always told you can't hit girls so i put up with it. Then one day i had enough and in front of almost the whole lunch room i said "get away from me you ugly pig!!!!!". Everyone laughed. She was humiliated. She never came near me ever again. We still had some of the same classes over the years right into high school but she never came near me ever again. You have to teach kids to stand up for themselves and the parents have to raise their kids right so their kids don't do shit like that. I have never heard of biting other kids before. That's not normal. Get that little girl to a therapist.

Yeah, I'm not sure why I didn't say anything. Probably because I was really an A.D.D. type kid before they knew what that was, and seriosuly, things like that just flew right out of my mind right after they happened. Not that I thought it was normal, but I really didn't tell my parents anything when I was a kid. It wasn't until years later that I thought, "Holy shit, that was really fucked up!" minneapolisgenius said: I have the creepiest stories about some daycare experiences I've had in my life when I was little. One of them is this in a nutshell:
My older sister and I would get dropped off at this daycare place a few blocks from our house in the daytime. It was run from this woman's house, and she had two daughters, one who was about 8 and the other who was around 4. Anyway, the 4 year old was called "Choppers" because she bit everyone. I was around 3 and a half at the time and my sister was about 7. Well, this woman's oldest daughter had broken her leg in a go-cart accident and was all set up in the living room with her leg hanging up in the air in one of those elevation contraptions. The woman would make us go to the store and buy her oldest daughter candy and then wrap it up at presents and then give it to her. She made us say, "Janine, you're so pretty" and "Janine, here we got these presents for you." and Janine would just lay there and yell at us from the bed. So Choppers used to bite everyone and one day she bit me on my inner arm so hard that it broke the skin and bled. When I cried, her mom hit me and said it was my fault anyway. "Why do you think we call her Choppers?!" She also slapped me once when I took too long on the toilet and wouldn't open the door for her. We didn't tell my mom these stories until about 15 years later actually. And then I found out that my older sister hated it there so much that she would just leave and go walk around the neighborhood all day. I always wondered where she went. The daycare woman never even told my mom that my older sister was leaving every day either. People are crazy. [Edited 9/20/06 4:32am] Holy shit!!! The Normal Whores Club

My mom took us to this nice Christian couple one summer for babysitting. I remember we used to do all kinds of arts and crafts, which I loved, and the woman just loved me because I was actually excited about making handmade dolls She would make us lunch and occupy is with all kinds of past times. In actuality, she was very nice. Her husband was a blue collar worker, I think a mechanic.
One day he came home early and I was making these little dolls and he told me to go into their bedroom to grab something from his nightstand and when I went in there everything seemed normal but when I got to the other side of the bed there were all these porn magazines and 8 mm porn reels with the boxes they came in scattered around When I opened the nightstand I had to scoot the toys out of the way to grab what he wanted. When I came back out of the bedroom I remember that woman had a big ass smile on her face. There are so many damn freaks in this world! .
