The far side always made me feel like an idiot.
Like I remember being at work, and everyone had these little calanders on their desk. And I'd try to read the jokes, every day. And I never got it. Not one time.  | |

Not all humor appeals to everyone, and The Far Side seems to be one of those either love it or hate it types of things.
Was it that you didn't understand the joke(s) or why a particular panel was funny, or did you see where the humor was but just didn't find it funny? | |

The Far Side ROCKS!!! growing up my Dad and Stepmum would get funny cards for me and my Brother... they'd be "Far Side" or "Purple Ronny" cards (not sure if Ronny is an Aussie thing or International)

Well, now the ones up top, quoted in the thread, I get, and found SLIGHTLY humerous. But I remember looking at them on peoples desks, and I just didn't understand the jokes. | |

I love this one!
this is what I have to look forward to when I go to Hell. And I love the one where these big aliens have two humans in a jar and one of them is a beautiful woman, and the other is a typical nerd, and the woman is trying to get away from the nerd. The aliens say, "I wonder why they're not mating?" or something to that effect.
