Had a nasty bastard virus a while back that none of the normal programmes were able to kill or detect. Eventually downloaded Ewido, and I have never had problems since. Happy is he who finds out the causes for things.Virgil (70-19 BC). Virgil was such a lying bastard!

I can't really recommend one over the other, but I can advise that having more than 1 is not a good idea and can b a real pain. Listen to me on The House of Pop Culture podcast on itunes http://itunes.apple.com/u...d438631917

For ongoing protection use the Zone Alarm firewall and AVG Anti-Virus programs.

[Edited 9/19/06 7:25am] Ad-aware isn't really an anti-virus program though. More like anti-spyware It is not known why FuNkeNsteiN capitalizes his name as he does, though some speculate sunlight deficiency caused by the most pimpified white guy afro in Nordic history.

NOD32
Hands-down no questions asked. Daily antivirus updates; live file monitoring and the lowest resource usage of any antivirus program available. It's literally hard to notice it running.

Makes perfect sense to me. Doesn't it get troublesome trying to clean out the disk drives and whatnot?

It's so small that you can just whack a hoover in there and it all gets sucked out very quickly. There's also the fact that because they're small you put them on the table and they gather far less dust - almost none. I've cleaned mine out once in almost 12 months now.
