I REALLY don't want to upset you Martina, but I'd seriously consider letting her move on if she can no longer control her bladder/bowels. That being said, I know you'll make the decision when the time is right. for both you and Murphy!

That being said, I know you'll make the decision when the time is right. for both you and Murphy! i hear ya - i've seen several animals in my petsitting job where the owner just can't seem to let go. despite the fact that Murphy is pretty much deaf and has bladder control problems, she's still quite happy, eats well and is very loving. when she starts feeling bad, we'll know it's time to let go. but i think we're a few months away from that yet.

Was he as stinky as mine? He doesn't even get called by his name... I just call him stinky usually. He doesn't bother to cover his litter box poo. This one's for you.

Well, my other indoor cat will stay in the litter box for ages until he's sure he has covered all traces of the load he has dropped. And the same with Pogo. Pogo actually climb's in the litter box to cover up the kitten's stank. But let me tell you, it's often horrid enough to nearly knock a person back. I thought it'd get better when we switched his food but the same amount of stank is there... Just no gas now. This one's for you.
