Three's Company marathon this weekend on TVLand

"Three's Company" is one of my Top 5 favorite sitcoms of all time.Back in the late 70s,I watched this show every week.I prefer the first couple of seasons when The Ropers were on it,they were hilarious! This weekend on TVLand, they're having a non-stop marathon, showing one episode after the other.I already have seasons 1-5 on DVD,but I'm gonna tune in to see the latter episodes that aren't available on DVD yet.

Any other fans of "Three's Company"? lol Who's gonna watch the marathon this weekend?

She got even hotter as the seasons went on razz

Joyce Dewitt and Dawn Wells (Mary Ann from Gilligan's Island) would be the perfect sandwich for JesseDezz.

Bernadette Stanis (Thelma from Good Times) would be the perfect dessert...

There was a same kinda series in the UK during the 70's called Man About The House .

And in the 90's there was a Dutch version called Sam Sam .

Actually, the American Three's Company was taken directly from the British version Man About the House if I'm not mistaken. hmmm I never liked Sam Sam. confused

I love Man About the House because it's earlier in the 70's than Three's Company and I love early 70's British style. lol nod

I watched Three's Company every night though this summer while staying at my parents' house. biggrin It reminds me of when I was a kid and HAD to watch it. So corny and the jokes are SO bad. disbelief I still love it though. highfive

They showed a Dutch series in the US ? confuse
The series missed indeed the UK-humor & wittyness from Man About The House .

I agree! I was so pissed when the Ropers left. One of the best things about the show was the constant bickering between them, and the hilarious put-downs that they threw at each other lol They were given their own sitcom but it wasn't very good.I think it only lasted one season?

shhh no one tell my wife...

I like 3s Company enough. Watched it when I was a kid and what not.

My wife, she'd make me watch the whole thing, or at least a good part of it.

I remember seeing an "E True Hollywood Story" about Three's Company, where Norman Fell stated that he and Audra Lindley (Mrs Roper) didn't want their own sitcom. They were happy being on Three's Company. After "The Ropers" was cancelled, he thought they'd be able to return to "Three's Company"...

My crush, Joyce DeWitt, took a long time to get over the way they were treated on the show - especially when she and the other cast members came back from some time off to find that the spinoff, "Three's A Crowd" was being filmed without them...

Damn,I wish they had been allowed to return! mad With all due respect to Don Knotts,I didn't like his character "Mr.Furley".He was really annoying and I think the show went downhill without the Ropers. For this reason,I'm in no real hurry to buy Seasons 6 and 7 on DVD.

"Three's A Crowd" was garbage.I hated that show.'Three's Company' is the type of show that didn't need any spin-offs.
