small things are ok. 1 item, rosary, a small charm/pendant, things like that.
but, i've seen countless idiots that have key chains and feathers, fake flowers, toys, stupid school tassels, and a few that have something that resembles a coconut with bird plumes sticking out of it. :disbelieve: as long as they can drive and SEE ..then fine. but if they get into an accident then that should be used against them.

the smaller ones are ok. i used to have a small country flag on mine. it baically fit right behind the rearview mirror and ddn't distract my vision whatsoever. i guess you'd have to take into account the size of your windsheild as well.

I have a chain with a small red heart and an ace of spades charm on it.
It was a gift from my nephews. "Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind"-Dr Seuss

now, I just have my parking pass. A block thong sounds kinda heavy. Must have a heavy duty mirror.

NAW....but if I could get a statue of St. Christopher, I'd slap it on the dashboard. Hard to find since he was de-sainted in the 60's.

It's pretty sure it's against the law in Australia. I think it's kinda silly, anyway and I'm sure it's caused accidents.

if you graduated from high school before 2006...please take your high achool tassles down.
if the little scented pine trees just smell like old cardboard now, take them down.

can't deal with it at all
why wait to see if it contributes to having an accident? i would feel pretty stupid explaining to some kids mother that those beads were just a cute souvenir from my trip to mardi gras

It's technically illegal in California, but my Husband has a rosary hanging from his rearview mirror. He's an Atheist, but his car was stolen last year and found on the side of the road once the dumba** who took it realized that the car has a locking gas cap. There was a rosary around the rear view mirror, so he kept it there cuz he thought it was funny ("Lord, please bless this car I stole"). People in Thailand, especially taxi and tuk-tuk drivers, often have these:
Or if they really like stuff in the taxi... Lots of people hang the buddhist icons in lockets on necklaces around the rear view mirror.

Ex-Moderator | I have 2 air fresheners, both no longer smell but they are still cute. One is this pair of rubber cherries and one is a pink hello kitty on a beaded chain. They are both adorable.
I also have stickers inside of my car, one on the window, about 3 on the dashboard. I have a handful of stickers on the back of my car. My car is an old piece of ugly junk. It's my way of making it a bit more cheerful. |

We have one hanging from a clip magnet thingy on the fridge. They're like mini soap versions of the real flower ones that people walk around in traffic and sell at the lights when cars stop (along with newspapers and sometimes even food in polystyrene boxes ).
