AOL rant.

I asked to two "techs" in AOL's Live Chat, what does the message "No message collected" means, and both responded in an evasive manner. If anyone of you has been let down by AOL, here's the place to rant. I think I am reaching the point of changing my internet provider. In your opinion Orgers, which internet provider is reliable as well as helpful when you have technical questions? I'd appreciate very much any suggestions.

AOHell does suck. I have NEVER heard anything good about them. My parents had AOHell for years until my older brothers and I got them a new computer and cable internet access for their 50th wedding anniversary last year.
RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you.

I was thinking that too hmmm

I know when I was living in Illinois, people would get AOL for the free trial, and then cancel before the trial was up. Anyone here ever do that? I thought about it when I first moved back...but then I thought, nah...AOL sucks, I'll just wait till I get a job and get internet then lol

man when i went dsl i left aol so behind...but if you dont have high speed there are other options.

So look around and do some searching, you really dont need the whistles and bells that AOL offers just to surf the net and prince.org

AOL is free now if you already have an internet connection (such as Cable or DSL), so you might as well switch. If you have an AOL account, go to keyword "billing" and you should see something about their free plan listed.

AOL's chat technology is way ahead of everybody else's other than that I can't even count how many ways they SUCK!
Many people have horror stories about AOL continuing to charge them after they've cancelled the service. Also it's very easy to pick up a virus from email etc, desptie all of the "protection" they advertise. Once I dumpd the AOL software, guess what? NO more viruses. EVER. It's free now and that's about what it's worth.

My mom said the same thing about the techs from AOHell. She said they always had an accent, and were hard to understand.
