This one has plagued me for a while. I think I'm a funny guy. I've always prided myself on it. I used to love writing short stories in elementary and middle school and even though I was the shy, obese kid in the ugly green cordoroys, I would pop out of my shell when it came to telling tales. The kids would laugh with me in class, which was nice because they were usually laughing at me in the halls. But now, as I approach 35, I wonder whether I am truly funny or just occasionally humorous. I think I am less funny when I try really hard to be funny and more funny when I let my brain on auto-pilot and just react.

Being funny is not like genital size. It's all so relative and hard to self-gauge. My wife says I'm funny but what else is she going to say? Is there a "am I hot or not" site out there where you can find out if you are legitimately funny?

This thread isn't funny. I acknowledge that.

I think Im funny too, and people do tend to laugh But I have one friend I've know a long time that will never hesitate to tell me the truth, even if its "shut the fuck up", and I value that!
