It's not that I don't want to talk to you. I've just been suck up again by my busy teaching life. I love it, I sure do, but I can't keep up contact with people like I'd love to do...

It isn't an entirely new school for me, actually. Last year I've replaced a young teacher, Julie, who was pregnant. At the end of the summer-vacation, she tried to have a chat with the headmistress to tell her she didn't felt ready to return full-time the next schoolyear, as it didn't feel good to leave her three-month-old baby.

The headmistress, however, is a very strange lady who can turn out to be pretty agressive towards 90 % of her staff. For an unclear reason, she likes me a lot and has spared me so far. So she's told the other teacher that she's didn't want to give her extra 'breastfeedingholiday' (don't know the English term), and Julie lost her position, which has gone to me. So I'm no longer interim, but I have a year-contract.

Last week she told me I'd have to teach 22 hours a week, which is even more than a fulltime. I don't feel like I have the right to refuse. That's more or less the situation I'm in right now.

Next to that, all the students of the fifth year (the seventeen-year-olds) had to take a huge language test. Speaking, writing, spelling, listening, reading, all that... So I had about 600 tests to correct. Luckily, some of my colleagues helped me, but the writing tests, I have to correct myself.

But I love teaching, and I have some great colleagues...

I'm having some stomach-pains at the moment. My boyfriend, whom I haven't seen for a whole week (we live together though) is preparing a light meal for me right now. So I'm going to shut down this computer and try to eat something. Afterwards, we'll cuddle on the couch and watch a movie. Tomorrow I have to go to a funeral and visit my mom, who's giving a huge party in favour of some Guatemalean children who don't have the money to go to school. On Sunday though, I'll be home working. Maybe then? I'd love to talk to you!

Uhm, I don't know. I just love the fact that there are other people who love Prince more than me, and I love even more the fact some of these people are interesting, funny and have a heart of gold.

I am sure sometimes in the near future there will be the right time for us to do another chat !
