Police kill gunman... Makes me wonder... R police normally stationed on campus there, does any1 know? A lot of things changed in Montreal after the massacre of 14 women at École Polytechnique in 1989. One of the biggest change was very strict security on campuses and police not hesitating to enter a building in an emergency like this.

are you questioning the police actions?? yesterday was a confusing time with as many versions of what happened as there were witnesses the details of what happened will be sorted out in time meanwhile i hope those critically injured make it through their surgeries

Just wondering how they managed 2 get there so quick, as it was originally reported that they were on the scene within seconds. Now it's 3 mins. Apparently the police station directly accesses the campus. So, that's convenient. Details will most definitely b sorted out...It's that process of sorting, and the time it takes that concerns me.. Yes indeed, my thoughts r with those most directly affected.

so many the young woman's body could not be removed till the scene had been throughly examined it must have been excruciating for the family to know she was there like that till the early morning hours of thursday the mother of the shooter was worried when her son did not come home from work. she called her local police department and they did not know anything. then she got a call from a reporter imagine hearing from a reporter that your son was the gunman all over the news we live in a society that feels compelled to make entertainment out of tragedy a coloumbine massacre video game?? wtf? and we live in a society of entitlement. he may have had a fucked up life - who knows. but he felt entitled to exact revenge in this way. that's messed up

I guess what really gives me the irrits is the supposed outpouring of emotion, prayers and what not 4 some1 like The Crocodile Hunter, and yet here, in the same forum, hardly a mention or sincere warm thoughts/prayers 4 the victims of this tragedy?
Why is that xactly? | |

Why is that xactly? Because the victims are faceless people to them. If they had a loud reality show, people would care.
