Apparitions

I've just got off the phone with my aunt who told me this story. (I hope it's clear and not confusing btw).

My aunt's friend ("E") and her sister and niece went shopping in a shopping mall in Manchester and, whilst they were browsing, E's sister needed to find a restoom. E told her where it was (apparently at the end of a long corridor) and when her sister and niece arrived in the restroom there was an elderly lady there who was dressed in blue and white but had no shopping or handbag with her. She was sitting on a chair.

As the two of them entered, the lady turned to E's sister and said "you've just lost your brother-in-law and he's fine. He says you shouldn't worry about him and must get on with your lives" (E's husband died earlier this year after a long illness; his favourite football team wear blue and white). She told them he liked the flowers they had (my aunt can't remember the name of the flower but said they're really obscure and they had been his favourite flowers in life).

Anyway, apparently the lady got up to leave the restroom and the two of them decided to follow her to ask more questions but when they got out she wasn't there. They couldn't understand how she could have got to the end of the corridor so quickly as she was an old lady.

When they got back, someone told my aunt about it, who was cleaning the top of her fridge as she'd had workmen fitting some units in her kitchen. As she cleaned the fridge some seeds fell on the floor. They were exactly the same type of flower that the lady had mentioned.

My aunt is really level-headed. There is no way she'd make any of this up and I really can't imagine that E or her sister would either. Weird, eh?

I believe these moments happen for us very frequently but we are so focused on our hectic industrial, consumer driven world that we just don't see or recognize them. What a great story ~ thanks for sharing!

My grandfather died when I was 10. In the weeks following his death, on numerous occasions, I spotted men of varying ages who closely resembled him.

Given the nature of the sightings and their effect on me, I've learned firsthand that some such appearances are not benevolent.

In later years, I learned of my grandfather's participation in a secret society that might have opened up our family to supernatural involvement.

The Bible says always to practice charity for we sometimes entertain angels unaware.

Still, it never hurts to plead the blood of Jesus and the protection of God.

I definitely believe… people I’ve lost usually come to me in my dreams to let me know everything is okay. Growing up we had apparitions in our house I’d see and hear them all the time, I even have them in the house I live in now. I just discovered them within the last year I guess I just didn’t pay attention to them before but now that I’m aware of them they are noisy as hell, I have hard wood floors through out and I can hear and see the figures of them walking up and down all during the night. I don’t bother them and they don’t bother me but when they get really loud start cussing about having to get up for work in the AM and they settle down a bit, I know it sounds crazy but it’s true and I always plead the blood and call on the man above for peace for me and them. pray
