I am SO off my diet right now. From the Hob Knobs and Walkers Thai Sweet Chili Crisps to everything Cadbury I am in LOVE with english junk food. Its a good thing I don't live here. 
Of course, today in York I had a traditional english afternoon tea with cucumber and cream cheese fnger sandwiches, a sultana scone w/clotted cream and strawberry preserves and 3 little desserts of lemon custard tart, raspberry tart and the most decadent little chocolatey fudgey thing ever. All with yummy, yummy tea. What's your favorite english junk food?

oh, CADBURY!

I grew up with the stuff... well not the junk food so much, but English food... it CAN be bland-ish, but it depends what it is... the junk food is terrible for you of course but the English definitely make the best Fish and Chips.
Have you tried a good Cornish pastie yet? Try and get one from their birthplace of Cornwall if possible. One of my favourite places on earth. I think I want to spend my last years there.

How many times you been to the UK now Carrie? This is my fourth trip, and sadly probably my last for a long while. I've got other parts of the world to see and yet somehow I keep ending up back here. NHot that I'm complaining, just that I've got to start spending my money on the places I haven't seen yet. Sorry I missed the homemade preserves, though.  |
