its one of the few classics that live up to the hype imo. american psycho is a great read. I love how he feels himself getting progressively worse, et is helpless to stop it. I associate with his utter contempt for humanity sometimes. Me too. My English teacher in high school actually used to refer to me as "Holden" -- no joke. I know that might be hard to believe! .
