there hahave been multiple times people, after first meeting me have said 'you liked catcher in the rye, didn't you?' hahaha

its one of the few classics that live up to the hype imo.

american psycho is a great read. I love how he feels himself getting progressively worse, et is helpless to stop it. I associate with his utter contempt for humanity sometimes. shrug

have you seen "the good girl"? it has my favorite catcher joke.

the jake gyllenhal character, Holden, who is one of those teens just plying on the angst as hard as he can, who is sitting reading "catcher in the rye" during their lunch break.

she asks: "whatcha reading there?"

"Catcher in the Rye. It's how I got my name."

"Your name is Catcher?"

It totally sucks when you think somebodys one way. And you invest all this time into them, only to wake up and realise they are not who you thought they were at all.

I'm actually talking about the members of my religious group. falloff

I don't really HATE anyone. But like, don't people understand when ya wanna be left alone?

Then explain to them what you want/do not want. If they cannot accept your wishes, and you are not in alignment with theirs, then maybe it might not be the correct religious fit for you?
