help. hmmmm....one year anniversary? the dinner thing is a good way to celebrate, possibly with a nice romantic card and flowers or chocolate. the card seems to work well with us gals because we like to read them when you're not around and get all mushy, makes us excited to see ya again and wrap our lovin' arms 'round ya

help. Let her come up with something. Women think about anniversary's way more than men do. I wouldn't do anything. 1 year anniversary is no big deal. [Edited 9/18/06 12:54pm]

Sexy time! Promise her you will not have sexy intercourse with #4 prostitute in all of Kazakhstan. Take her to field and give her plough experience and television remote control Kazakhstani chain of importance: "God, man, horse, dog, woman, then rat, then small krutzouli"

Is that the man's duty? This guy should not be sweating crap like that.

The one year anniversary is an intimate, special occasion indeed.
Prepare a romantic picnic, complete with candles and wine and music, and pick her up from rehearsal and surprise her with the picnic basket. If weather allows, have your romantic nighttime meal outside, and enjoy the moon and stars while you dine. If the weather is poor, spread out the picnic on your living room floor and take her home and surprise her with that. Write a letter describing how you felt when you first saw her, or recounting your first date together. If you are poetic, write a poem especially for her. Neither letter nor poem must be elaborate, or even 'good' - just heartfelt. Congratulations to you both! (By the way, chocolate is an excellent gift for any anniversary! )
