A good friend whom is a sheriff and his wife who is a cop, had their tires stolen in from of their house. Now that's bold. One sound, and those thieves would have been blown into next week. They came outside on the car was on block right in FRONT of the garage.

This was at an apartment complex at the time, so people passing by probabbly thought someone was changing a flat.

I had disc number 3 from Crystal Ball stolen out of my friend's car! I felt worse for him becasue they stole all of his CDs and his stereo.

A friend of mine and her husband also had their car stolen. The worse part is that when the car was found, it was totally gutted, and the interior was slashed to bits. The police impounded the car, and want to charge my friends $2000 to get it back! It's a completely useless peice of crap now, but if they leave it in the impound lot, it will cost them $800 per day until they pick it up. Who are the criminals in this situation?

My brother's 959 was stolen and a guy tried to sell him back his own damn car. He did NOT know that it was my brother's car.

Yes & it was a nightmare. My dad was the legal owner, and he was on a year long road trip (!?) at the time, so it was a constant hassle to get anything done. I was 18 and dumb and had no idea how to handle getting stuff done. I guess I learned.

Worst was the impound lot. They wouldn't let me pick the car up because technically it wasn't mine. Somehow I was able to get signatures and get around it but not without paying a hefty impound fee. They didn't even roll the windows up, so it was all nasty inside!

Getting it fixed (a broken window, alignment & some damage to the door & ignition) took months and they didn't fix it all that well.

In the back on the floor I found a Polaroid of who I assume was either the theives or their friends, but of course the police assured me that that was no help whatsoever.

Like I say I was young, and I don't think it would happen the same today, but it would suck no matter what! I guess it's better than a carjack.

yea man, I had my first truck stolen. It really sucked , it was our first truck to move gear with.
I parked it out front of a friends house in a real nice neighborhood for 10 minutes after a DRI concert. Were sitting there and hear my truck start up.
By the time we got down stairs, it was GONE. Stolen by crackheads and found 2 weeks later totally gutted in a bad neighborhood the cops don't even like going in.
I left the keys in it, so I made it easy for them. Never caught the people personally and the cops would not tell me who it was as I was like
NDRU and it was in my dads name. That was my first and last brand new vehicle. I was carjacked in MPLS and forced to drive someone to Northern mpls and I was totally carjacked in North Carolina at a show, they hit me over my head and took my car, the cops found my car on the side of the road, still running with a 4 foot bong in the back seat. They tried charging me for possession of the bong...I said, FUNK that, my shiz was stolen man, that ain't mine!
So yea, lojack is a beautiful thing.....

Nobody wants my car, I'm sure lol I had a few things stolen....mostly minor things....a bike when I was 5, a ring when I was around 10, and a pair of jeans recently. The bike which was clearly a little girl's pink and purple bike was recovered in a ditch close by our house at the time, my brother's bike which was also stolen was never recovered. It was a badass neon green and black bike too. I remember the morning it all happened like it was yesterday. The same people made an attempt to steal my dad's Harley, but he caught them at the driveway, and they ended up dropping it and running off. The ring is the only stolen thing that I still think about to this day. I had an idea as to who took it, but back then I was so shy that I didn't have the nerve to confront the person....who was a bully. lol Hopefully she's getting what she deserves now.....something really really terrrible evillol I was never really worried about the jeans, because it's just a pair of jeans. I'm not gonna lose my mind and flip out over that, but it was mainly the principal behind it. The fact that the person who took them was lying to my face and I knew it. She had several chances to fess up....she didn't...so I seeked revenge.

Back when my wife and I were living in an apartment complex, there was one guy who lived in one of the other buildings who was being prosecuted for stealing women's underware from the laundry rooms on that end. wacky

After he whipped his ass? He whipped his ass again and then called some relatives who are COPS. Don't know what happened 2 the guy. It's NOT 2 many 959's driving around town. That car is not even LEGAL in the U.S. so he could NOT call the regular cops.

yea, it was scary, i was lost it was freeeeezing cold and i did not know if i was going to make it home. In northcarolina, I dont remember any of that, they just knocked me cold.
Yea, it has a tendency to ruin ones day. Especially when you only have 1 car....
I purposely drive a semi decent vehicle for these reasons now, nothing nice enough to steal but nice enough to look, well nice.... And if someone tries car jacking me again, they will be full of holes on the side of the road... shoot2

My brother had once with his 1rst car .
He had moved to live in another city at the beginning of his working career .
He went outside his house on a morning and saw the empty space .

I remember i was at home that moment and him calling my dad for what happened .
Strangely , my dad went to town for shopping , later in the day and suddenly saw my brothers car parked somewhere !

Apparently it was jacked by daredrivers or something . Also , there was an important soccer-game in our town that day , with the competing-team from the city where my brother lived ... so all kinda conclusions came up eventually .
