Ever want to change your name??

If I hear either of my children say "Dad" one more time, I'm going to shoot myself in the face with a bazooka.

lol Maybe that's why my parents allowed us to call them by their first names. I have never called my dad, "Dad" redface I called my mom, "Mom" once and that was because I didn't want my friend to know that I didn't call her "Mom". I just felt extremely wierd saying "Mom". After that one time, I was like forget it, I don't care who knows about what I choose to call my parents. lol

I used to work with a guy named Ra. He spelled his name the exact same way. The first time I saw his name in print, I thought it was a typo. lol Came to realize that it was not a typo, that was how he spelled his name.

It really would have been perfect for me because 1-It's unique. Just like me! biggrin and 2-My last name is Corona.

Ra is the egyptian Sun god and our Sun has a Corona. Corona in Spanish means Crown. My real first name is Richard and that is derived from the Germanic word for Harsh King or King. So literally translated my name means Kings Crown biggrin

I can't buy the same laundry detergent twice in a row, I hate using an avatar for more than a day, and I am constantly asking my stylist what I should be doing with my hair. How do you think I feel about a permenant name? lol

But that's not important right now.

That's funny -- I did the same thing. I called my father "Doc" (which was totally unrelated to his actual name), but I once called him "dad" in front of others. It was so odd I decided never to do it again.
