just had an update on the radio and the tornadoes are already popping up. one hit up at a magistrate's house this afternoon. It's a pretty huge system that moving quite slowly so it may take up to 15 - 20 hours to move on pass.
the surf on the beaches is crazy! i'll post pics when i can.
right now i'm goign upstairs and start the hurricane party we are having and watch a whole bunch of dvds cuz that's all we can do.

i'll update you guys accordingly.

i just checked the weather updates and it's looking like a DIRECT HIT!

technically it's closet point of approach will be 8 miles to the west on Monday morning but you might as well call it it a direct hit.

i haven't been in a hurricane for a lot of years. the last one that hit i was away for. wish us luck folks!

please please please let someone from here know how you are doing if you can't tell us yourself

we usually get back on our feet quite quickly. our homes are made of stone and concrete so they are very resistant to high winds.
