I just can't be arsed to go shopping and try on tons of different pairs. I'm gonna go with Org.Recommendations and shades which you guys think are nice! Post 'em up Ta I'm sorry, but I don't care what's in. That's alot of hype bullshit. If you have that money to drop on a pair of sunglasses, you should get the best on the market. That's why I'll go with Okley. They are all about function and protection. Please, please. No need to apologize I once bought a pair of those "Okley" shades that you mention .....from a Del Boy, whilst in holiday in Ibiza. They were shit He also sold Rodex, Rada and TEG heuer watches "..My work is personal, I'm a working person, I put in work, I work with purpose.."

I got these Prada aviators a few months ago. I love them. And they have them on both men and women's too.

Timeless! i think those would work well on you, senik. at least from the memory of the picture I've seen of you. I would say stick with dark lenses, no blue or purple or whatever other silliness. [Edited 9/10/06 12:41pm] I'm really quite conservative (i.e. boring ) so nothing more "adventurous" than a dark tint will be bought Nice one our Jas (I'm really thinking of getting back together with you, ya know ) "..My work is personal, I'm a working person, I put in work, I work with purpose.."

I know That's the biggest problem I have with shades, it's the fit! I've a fairly weird shaped face and me bloody ears aren't level so they always tend to look wonky on me ol' mug "..My work is personal, I'm a working person, I put in work, I work with purpose.."

I haven't worn sunglasses since I pretty much stopped wearing my contacts, but from what I've seen at stores that sell high-end shades, oversized frames seem to be really popular right now. Personally, I don't care for the look, but I realize that they're probably quite effective at doing what they're supposed to do (i.e., keeping the sun out of your eyes). I'm also not too crazy about frames with giant designer logos (such as D&G) on the temples. It looks kind of nouveau riche, and if I see someone walking around downtown with a pair, I think the chances are pretty good that they're fakes purchased for 10 bucks at Pike Place Market. Please note: effective March 21, 2010, I've stepped down from my prince.org Moderator position. |
