I am off to celebrate a friends birthday. Whats your plans for the weekend?

Just to relax

7am - wake up, haul a bunch of boxes to my new apartment over several trips

9am - movers show up, move all my big stuff in less than an hour, so they moved a bunch of smaller stuff too.

12pm - realize that in a well-lit apartment, my couch looks like something that would have been thrown out of fred sanford's house, so i walk to the local ace hardware and rent a steam cleaner, haul it home, and proceed to steam clean my couch.

let me just say that there is NOTHING fun about steam cleaning a sofa. NOTHING.

3pm - return steam cleaner to hardware store, pick up laundry and put it away in my new closet.

330pm - go to target with friend, spend WAY too much on home stuff

5pm - unload all my target booty. assemble bookshelf. install swank new toilet seat. change light switches. hook up tv/dvd/vcr wiring. arrange books in new bookshelf. generally unpack and situate everything i've brought into the new apartment so far.

8:30pm - go to grocery to buy alcohol

8:40 - drink alcohol

9:30 - go to local coffee shop to get an org fix, since there's no phone service at the new pad yet.

so, you know, just kinda a lazy saturday.

I guess my weekend's fine...lotsa family stuff while recovering from a cold, but what can you do...

in general though, life sucks ass at the moment and the birthday fairy can shove year 32 up her ass

We won our football game,,, I got to take a drive up to the mountains for some quality me time,,, tommorow I'm going to church and visit my mother to take her to breakfast. So the weekend is rolling out nicely. Thank you for asking!

I was out Friday evening for dinner with a couple of friends. We went to a bar for goodnight drinks.

Spent all Saturday alone.

Today I'll have a friend over for dinner.

But until then, I am alone.

I worked. It was my second weekend as an on-air Traffic Producer. I LOVE IT!!

Well lets see....basically I have spent most of my
weekend driving my teens around...cooking and cleaning!!
FUN!!! (I think not) lol

helping my friend out of an abusive relationship with a girlfriend who smacks him, bites him, controls his social life, kicks his dogs, trashes his house and steals his money. that was yesterday.

Yesterday I had excellent sex and a yummy breakfast, hung out with the provider of those things for a few hours, volunteered for break-down after the local AIDS walk was over, went to pick up my new glasses (HOT ), sent my girlfriend off to camp at some trailhead (she's climbing a mountain today. . . again), and consumed an entire bottle of syrah while catching up on my Queer Eye downloads. A good day.

Today I'm gonna go get breakfast at my favorite spot, do some cleaning, study some math, and go hang out with my dearest friend for a while. And then I welcome the girlfriend home from her mountain excursion.

Good stuff.

Sorry for those of you who are having a sucky weekend (or, you know, year. . . ).

Friday-

Worked until 5pm

After work I changed clothes in the parking lot, went to Marie Callenders to pick up 3 pies and went to a bridal shower for a lady I work with.

At the bridal shower I did something I haven't done in a VERY long time...had a glass of wine. (I normally don't drink wine)

Had a nice time at the shower...drove home and got home around 10pm

Saturday-

Slept in late

Got up and very slowly got ready to go to the State Fair.

Storm blew in...didn't go to the fair..Took daughters shopping instead.

Had fun at the mall (except my girls bickered too much and my oldest has really become quite the snide little teenager... )

Sunday (Today ) -

Slept in late

Had a small bag of cheetos and a diet dr pepper

Logged on to the .org

May try to get to the State Fair later today.

Just finished a project.. knitting a skull and cross bones punk purse..

Its kinda cool.. kept me busy.. next w/e is gonna be mad, cos I am flying to Spain on holiday, so just been taking it easy this weekend..
