Wow, now that is first class! We don't have anything like that here, but this is Cleveland, Ohio, so what can you expect? Another cool thing about that theater is it's 2nd run, so more independent films come through & stay longer I never met you, but I LOVE you & I will forever!! I usually dont eat anything but if I am going to have something, I'll bring it from home. Theres no way that Im paying $6 for a box of candy. Im really discreet about it. I'll bring a granola bar, piece of fruit, bag of nuts or something like that. I dont think thats "ghetto" at all.

...I agree...its a damn shame that the cinemas find it necessary to charge that much for candy, so I have no problem bringing my own..I'll buy their popcorn and drinks but the candy comes in my pocket...but back to the topic... AND

Yeah, true, you never know what might be on those couches. RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you.

1 of my fave cinemas . Like a few other venues in my city , you can have dinner over there before a play . And some halls have very luxury seats with much room around you ( not the ones , pictured below ) ![]() [Edited 9/10/06 14:28pm]

[Edited 9/10/06 14:28pm] I've only been to one dinner theater show. I loved it, and I wanna go to another one sometime soon. looking for you in the woods tonight Switch FC SW-2874-2863-4789 (Rum&Coke)

Movie food is kinda pricey, so I rarely buy my own from there. I do always get those Care Bears gummi bears. I've been getting them since day one of going to the movies. I feel like it's a tradition now
I'm not a huge popcorn fan, but from time to time I get in the mood for super buttery movie popcorn. Some theaters have ushers, so it's kinda hard to pop open a canned drink with one standing in your area. looking for you in the woods tonight Switch FC SW-2874-2863-4789 (Rum&Coke)

And of course then you need to add a big diet coke to that, and you'd have a meal... I see roodboi posted raisinets above, and I was thinkin' how much I love those things.....so add those to my candy list above...

I've been known to sneak in a piece of pizza and drink. Movie theaters make most their money off concessions, so I don't feel so bad about the prices. Most admission costs go directly to film distributors so they don't make much on that. If you find a theater you love, I say, support them... Home video has already shut down thousands of big screen theaters.

I buy popcorn and then get a bad of Maltesers (that's like chocolate balls if you don't have that in America. Oooohh.....that sounded a bit rude.

Usually Nachos or Junior Mints. One theatre I go to every now and then sells Kool-Aid, so that's my drink of choice. And hell yes I sneak in food. Regularly, even. Then again, I've got no shame about sneaking in and out of the club when I'm out to drink booze I've hidden in the bushes either. I'm just that classy. "A Watcher scoffs at gravity!"

I try to sneak in soda and popcorn from a local convenience store when I have the chance, other than that I try to eat a meal before the film so I don't get compelled to buy overpriced snacks.

My favorite big screen theater closed down about 5 years ago already....I was rather devastated.... plenty of room for ppl to get to open seats in the middle without stumbling over feet, etc....and the seats were plush rocking type chairs...it was really a pleasure going to movies there...
