ridiculous? what is with poodles and grooming? Is it an art form?
Theyre the cheesiest looking dogs ever. Frankly I'd be embarrassed to walk down the street with a Poodle looking like he's on his way to a hot date. Dont get me wrong, I dont hate 'em or anything, I just wouldnt want one

the long lionmane was left to keep dogs vital organs warm during cold water swims
feet puffs were to keep feet joints warm

puff on tail is to track ( see ) dog in water as he swam

the shaved areas were to help prevent waterlog and prevent sticks abd barbs from sticking in fur

i know there are some arguments for clipping ears (in nature, most animals have pointed ears to allow for moisture to escape, and many dogs were purposely bred to have floppy ears.) but seeing that floppy ears are now the norm amongst many dogs, why not just spend more time on keeping dogs' ears clean and healthy?
