It's not ordinary but it's simple and sometimes that works just as well. No interesting angles, just a simple photograph, taken in the moment and of the moment. I like your photos Byron. I definitely have to "feel" the shot before I press the shutter release, yeah... ...I didn't have that feeling, though, when I took the shot of the photo in the fence. I knew there was a shot there, though...it just didn't seem like I was finding it. And thanks... I wish I could see some of your graphic design!! (cough*hint*cough)

Amazing as always This is my favourite...I'm really drawn to it..... Thanks, hun... My neighbors kept stopping and watching, and saying "You see something in the trash worth photographing?"..lol (as if they didn't already have enough reasons to think I'm weird )

Or do you photoshop? Thanks, hun... I really like that second shot you posted, I have a weakness for abstract architecture shots... As for my photos, I think it's a combo of both the type of camera I use and the adjustments made in Photoshop...I've used other digital cameras in the past that could never give me the color and image quality that my current one does. And then I use Photoshop the way I would use a darkroom...for example, instead of attaching a filter to the enlarger to bump up the contrast, I bump it up in Photoshop using the Levels option. Sometimes I increase the color saturation a bit to emphasize certain shots (although you can only really do it in a small amount, or else the results look awful and the image will look pixelated in the color you emphasized). Other than that they're pretty much just as they appear after downloading them from the camera. I used the Levels option on your second photo the way I might use it on one of my photos, just to show you what it is I do:

Cool Pics. I love Photography, though I am nowhere near as cool as you !!
Here are my fave pics that I took myself: This was taken whilst photographing the "Mess" my Garden was in prior to me working on it.... This was my first time using a Digital Camera - I like this as it has a 'peaceful' feel to it. And this one was taken outside my brothers house and then I played with it in Photoshop and it went freaky !! But I like it !!! .........Gimme your Doughnut,,,,,,

I've been wanting to take a shot like this for awhile now...lol...love the calmness of the water and the resulting reflection. Calmness and reflection often go hand in hand within Life. Great shots...

Great shots... Thank You (From someone as talented as yourself that means a lot) - I was standing on a Dam when that was taken, I nearly dropped the Camera in the Lake as I was leaning over the wall !! It is my Personal favourite too for the peacefulness. .........Gimme your Doughnut,,,,,,

Moderator | Just saw this!
I really love the window one. In spite of the cost of living, it's still popular. |
