Go back to the beginning, where the horror began for the children of Elm Street as they fight to never sleep again in fear of being murdered in their dreams. A Nightmare on Elm Street stars Robert Englund (A Nightmare On Elm Street Part 2: Freddy's Revenge, Freddy Vs. Jason) in the legendary role of Freddy Krueger, Johnny Depp (Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory) in his first feature film role, and the star of the Nightmare series, Heather Langenkamp. In this original chilling masterpiece, Nancy Thompson (Langenkamp) is suffering from violent nightmares about a badly burned man wearing a glove made of knives. She quickly learns that this man - child molester Freddy Krueger (Englund) - is also terrorizing the dreams of her friends and boyfriend, Glen (Depp). As they begin to die one by one in their sleep, Nancy learns, that years prior, the parents of Elm Street burned Krueger alive - and now Freddy is back to claim their children's lives as revenge! I wish they'd let this run through to the weekend. I don't really like going to the movies during the week I'm still gonna go though. I'm more excited about the Freddy's kills montage than the actual movie They should've done the same thing for Jason and Michael Myers. Michael had the best kills,imo.

Freddy never scared me. He was always a jokester "The Omen" is another one of my favorites, but I guess because I'm not really a religious person, those type of horrors didn't scare me either. Micheal Myers scared me a little when I was a child. Something about that stoned face white mask was creepy I died laughing when I found out it was a William Shatner mask

as much as i normally hate most horror films, i really like these. thinking about going, but really for the montage rather than the film itself. i probably wont. there are few audiences more annoying that horror movie audiences, especially when it's a big premiere type of thing. we saw the omen remake on 6/6/06, and that crowd was A N N O Y I N G

I think the audience help when it comes to something as silly as Freddy....especially the montage That kinda calls for assholes shouting out I went to see the new "The Omen" after the hype had died out, so there weren't a lot of people there. I can imagaine though, a bunch of younger people who haven't seen the original.
