sniped is always something you've got to realize when you think you are going to get something really cool for next to nothing.

You've got to learn to snipe yourself or ask yourself the question "at what price would I not be upset to lose this at?" and then bid it upto that price.

Paranoia makes you think if you bid high then "evil doers" will bid you up just for the fact of bidding you up. This might or may not happen. However if you keep to the "upset to lose" rule, what do you really have to lose?

I just hate those pedantic fuckers that report you for shit like 'circumnavigating Ebay fees' because you offer something for $0.99 with $9.99 shipping. Don't they realise that decrease in fees allows sellers to sell things more cheaply.

Somebody recently outbid me on something, don't remember what, literally in the last 10 seconds. I couldn't even react anymore, damn! Sometimes I do this myself, though.

And please email before you leave negative feedback about the item not arriving yet when shipping time is clearly stated in the listing and it's still within the specified duration.

Ebay, and I'm sorry to say this, or maybe not, is an amazing insight into the common American mind. It's not a pretty sight.
