THAT PIT IN YOUR STOMACH Have you ever found out something so disappointing about someone you care for that it literally makes you ill? And it's not a feeling of judgement, it's just sheer disappointment and a drastic loss of respect. 
It's like there is a fist in your stomach that just gets tighter and tighter and it won't go away - and you start to question whether you will ever feel the same about this person again.

I have had this feeling many many times in my life. I think it really depends on what has happened whether or not there is room to have that person in my immediate life let alone long term. You know what happened between me and Greg and why I left him. I had this feeling in the worst way and it was just beyond sad. Oh yeah, I remember when I found out that an ex-boyfriend was a rapist and a beater. The world was spinning and I couldn't believe I'd been in his house, in his bed, literally at his mercy. If I think about it even now I'll get sick.

Yes, and I hate when that happens. It turns me off to that person completely.
It's like when I really really like someone and months may go by and they'll say something really racist. Believe it or not it's happened to me more than once. This blows it for me immediately.
