What exactly was the assignment?

I missed the episode, but looking at these, I kinda like everyone's except for Laura's and Jeffrey's (and the bustline of Michael's). I think I also like Uli's best.

i didn't like Jeffrey's dress on the model in paris, but the model in new york rocked it!! headbang i really dug the color and the plaid i grew to like. while watching the show i wanted to see the cut of his dress more so i could understand it better, but after looking at the pic i still can't make sense out of it. lol

Kayne - yeah dude definitely has a future career making outfits for the entertainment industry in Vegas. though like everyone else i dugged the bottom half of the dress.

Laura - Micheal Korrs put a stake through the heart of that dress after he gave the french maid comment. confused

Michael was a bit too ambitous with the time constraint and to have never done one before, but i can see where he was trying to take it and after looking at the pic on the thread it really doesn't seem that bad, i'm sure up close would be another story. lol

Uli had the best made dress and yeah we've seen it before but damn i thought this challenge was mainly about coture which she pretty much killed everyone with her technique.

Um Yeah...Whatshisname...lol i think he ran out of gas on this challenge. the arms on that dress was sick! ill and then the whole front looks like the back and vice versa fiasco. falloff the judges really killed dude, didn't they? falloff and that shit he glued to the back of the dress, WHAT WAS UP WITH THAT?!?! falloff falloff

seriously, even though Alicen made that ball of vanilla paper and scotch tape mess with the gift box bow hairdo, Vincent should've been the one eliminated. She was a much better designer and the judges know it, they just kept Vince around for the grins and giggles and you gotta say he pretty much delievered on that part. smile

oh man, it's been so hard not to look at this thread until i was able to catch the rerun! lol

Jeffrey's dress was an abomination - i can't believe he won! disbelief but i guess they have to keep his butt in through the finals for the drama factor.

Uli had by far the best dress, and Kayne's would have been great if it had been just a little more understated. (i thought he was very smart to put the corset in the back - i guess he figured he might have to put it on two different models.)

Laura is going to have to change things up a little bit, or she'll be auf'd next week.

by the way, thanks, Chris, for posting these threads! hug
