If a movie looks REALLY bad, I tend to avoid it. As a result, I haven't seen a lot of the b-movie clunkers mentioned here. But there are some that fooled me:

Embrace Of The Vampire

The Doom Generation

Nowhere

Yes, Gregg Araki fooled me twice. lol

But he redeemed himself with 'Mysterious Skin'.

something tells me mysterious skin was a fluke...cause all of his previous films are HORRID!! HORRIBLE!! and i've now seen three of them...cant event thin of the third title right now...

it was about a bunch of kids recording confessionals about their teen relationships and blah blah blah and blah blah blah...so boring...so horibbly filmed...

I also get a real icky feeling watching his films...like Larry Clark it feels its all being filmed for pedo purposes.

Well I am going for the Puma Man.

I mean what Puma can:
Fly
Teleport
Play Dead
Walk through walls
See in the dark (i guess)

And how did they find this "Puma-man" why throw him out a window! The Puma will fly, the others go splat.

Sheer shit[/quote]

Best part of the movie was when he had to make the bad guys believe he was dead by lying still. That's when a small fly landed on his face and crawled in his ear and in his nose! thumbs up!

Why did you see those movies in the first place? Couldn't you tell beforehand that they stink? razz

even though it has gotten bad reviews, i want to see beerfest, cause i like the cast. "super troopers" was AWESOME, and then the follow-up "club dread" sucked... was hoping "beerfest" would be more "super", but apparently it's more "dread"

I actually liked Club Dread a lot, but didn't really care for Super Troopers. I laughed my ass off at that fake Jimmy Buffett.

No, you don't. That's Wanda Sykes in the fuschia wig. disbelief That's reason enough, right there. To walk away from that movie.

A college friend told me it was funny. I watched, against my better judgment. Should've listened to my instincts.

that and to wong foo are the only swayze worth seeing, and even then, both are pretty much cinematic junk food. especially, to wong foo, which while cute, is jst a bad american rip-off of the far, far better adventures of priscilla

loved the parts about the real people, hated the bloated romance that is so unnecessary, and for no good reason minimizes the stroies of the real people.

it was okay, liked it alright when it opened. 6 months later i was ready to punc out the next person who did the voice, and it beat pulp fiction, the shawshank redemption, and four weddings and a funeral for best picture, which made me despise it.

it's crap.

but he played a child molester and he gets dissed! plus it has BOTH gillenhaals (however the hell you spell it), AND catherine "stepford wives" ross, AND beth grant (my favorite character actress ever)....AND SPARKLE MOTION!

oh, this is not the stuff of 'joe vs. the volcano'. i must disagree with you.
