m o r e B U F F Y t a l k okay, i know i am behind the curve, since there was a big thread about buffy a few months ago, but i couldnt find it to add to it. after all the chat, i went and got the chosen collection with all 7 seasons, and have been watching them all again for a second time.
the first time around, i wasnt wild about season 4, this time around, i have to say that while i still think adam is the worst big bad they ever did, and while i still don't like riley much, i mighta been too hard on it the first time around. humor really developed a lot in this season. some of the funniest moments are here. i love this version of spike, which is the sitcomy spike. better than big bad spike and buffy's in love with spike. love the idea of having him wandering around giles' apartment, insulting everyone. and tara. i just finished "hush", and all it took was seeing her that first time, and my heart swelled up and i got all misty again. still my favorite fringe scooby. I've done Buffy the wrong way.
I was SUPER anti-buffy forever. Then I somehow ended up watching the last season with my BF and CarrieMPLS. I quickly realized what I've been missing. So, I had to go back and have made ti through seasons 1-4. I'm torn about 4. The Adam dealio was WAY lame. But, the humor in the season was top notch and there were some fabulous stand alone episodes. And you mentioned Hush which I must say is one of the best episodes of TV I've ever seen

That is the WORST part of Season 4 (and I guess each season after)...NO CORDELIA! I sooo loved her. And yes, Anya is good but I REALLY missed Cordelia.

Agreed, I'm watching reruns here now and we're on season 3, found that I actually like Angel now and I even appreciate Faith more. It's amazing what repeated exposure and indoctrination can do
