He gmail chatted me about a week and a half ago - told me to get on it later...I missed him.

I've been wondering the same thing...

I don't know anything apart from what he posted in the Site forum, but he is missed and I keep him, his health and his partner in my thoughts.

Seriously, thanks for the kind words and thoughts - I'm doing ok, but I really don't have any further news to enlighten you with right now, which after a number of months in the dark myself is frustrating as all hell.

All I can tell you is that finally (after 2 cancellations) I'll be going back into hospital next wednesday to have my second set of biopsies taken - I'll then have to wait up to 2 weeks for the results to come back. The wierd thing is after all this time waiting for some form of diagnosis, you would think being told they found nothing was a good thing - which, of course, it is. But knowing (and constantly feeling) that something isn't quite right makes being told such a thing even scarier - what's more frightening than the unknown, right? If I actually knew what I was dealing with (they have ideas, but nothing concrete - and I'm certainly not going to enter into those here) then maybe I could make all the neccesary adjustments to my life as needed. But the past few months since coming out of hospital I've simply been fumbling blind in the dark (no jokes about backrooms please)

Thanks to most of the modding gang - (especially Luv4u and Ben) I've been able to step back a lot from here and just pop by occasionally and check the gallery etc - as you can imagine my priorities lie elsewhere now, and in the not-too-distant-future a new mod will be taking over the reigns as this person is able to dedicate a lot more time than myself right now. But I'll still look in and do my thang as and when I can, just that it will be on more of a down-lo kinda vibe - it's just not fair on you guys to simply leave the gallery to gather dust and rot.

So, these things aside, I'm doing ok for all intents and purposes. I've just returned from a much-needed break in Berlin seeing friends, and it was just the tonic I needed to put a little pep in my step again.

I still feel bad for never repaying him for the replacement "The Hits/The B-Sides" discs he sent me.

I just didn't have anything he'd want, though...though I tried for ages to get ahold of the Apollonia 6 album for him, to no avail. Same with Giotto... just don't have many bootlegs to give in return, myself.
